Regenerative AESTHETICS (Almi Procedure)

HOW IT WORKS

ALMI is a revolutionary procedure that uses a patient’s own tissues and cells to help renew and restore damaged or diseased tissues and volume loss.

ALMI utilizes adipose cells (fat) and their stem and stromal cell components, along with platelet concentrates, which are then carefully placed directly into targeted tissues. These cells are unique because they have the potential to develop into many different types of cells and seek out areas of injury that need rejuvenation or restoration.

By inserting the cells into the affected area, this amplifies the body's healing capabilities for more efficient restoration/regeneration of the tissue. Depending on where the tissue and cells are inserted, the ALMI procedure has been proven to spark hair re-growth, rejuvenate collagen, provide structural support for volume loss, and help improve a variety of health conditions. Our body’s natural healing process is fairly efficient, but modern science can accelerate the process.

Turn back the clock on the aging process . . . restore that youthful appearance with your own tissues!
As we age, collagen production is greatly reduced, causing our faces and hands to lose volume. The skin becomes wrinkled and saggy, and for some individuals, the face they see in the mirror is not the one they want looking back at them!  The aging process begins as early as our late twenties, and oftentimes the changes are subtle and not very noticeable, and other times, changes such as loss of volume or texture in the skin causes the face to lose that youthful glow and appearance.

Are Collagen Treatments More Effective than Fillers?

Typical treatments for collagen loss include fillers, fat grafting, or even facelifts. However, these procedures can be costly, involve major surgery, or, in some instances, are not long lasting (such as with fillers or traditional fat grafting). Fillers, in particular, do not contain the components necessary to stimulate collagen growth or rejuvenation of damaged tissue. Without the ability to promote a new blood supply or new collagen growth, which aid in addressing textural and tone issues, fillers may leave a lot to be desired – and while there is an immediate result, they may not last long enough.

ALMI Procedure for Collagen Loss
Enter ALMI™.  The ALMI™ (Autologous Lipocyte Micronized Injection) Procedure is used to inject a patient’s micronized fat and autologous platelets directly into the area of concern, similar to that of traditional fillers.  Injected into the face, ALMI™ will rejuvenate damaged tissue, fill hollowed out areas, and smooth out wrinkles and lines. ALMI will restore texture, tone, and elasticity, and the results can improve over time as the collagen is stimulated to rejuvenate. When injected into the lips, ALMI™ provides plump and beautiful lips and helps to remove those little lines around the lips, a chief complaint of aging.

Finally, injected into hands, ALMI™ will rejuvenate, smooth, and plump the hands, restoring that youthful look in the process, often taking years off their appearance.

How Much is Injected to Stimulate Growth?

With the ALMI™ Procedure utilizing the patient’s own tissues, the only limit to how much is injected, and thus used to stimulate growth, renew and refresh the face and hands is how much viable tissue is harvested. This benefits the patient by not having to determine how much to purchase, but rather, the desired outcome that the patient and physician determine is best for that individual patient.  The Procedure itself is done right in your physician’s treatment room, in about an hour, with little to no downtime.

Results for face and hands are seen immediately and continue to improve over time. Many patients report the “ALMI™ Glow,” the effect of their skin taking on a youthful, healthy glow due to the rejuvenation process of the bio-cellular milieu.

Take back control of your hair … and restore your confidence!
Hair loss affects 70% of men and 40% of women and can start as early as a person’s teens, with risk increasing with age.

Hair loss can result in the loss of confidence and has been one of the more difficult areas to treat – with painful surgical processes, lotions and pills that don’t work, and expensive hair pieces. It is often an area that can cause frustration and embarrassment. Whether it is for a receding hairline, a balding area, a lack of fullness and volume, or thinning or sparse hair overall, the ALMI™ Procedure (Autologous Lipocyte Micronized Injection) may be the all-natural solution for your hair loss.

Miniaturization of the hair follicle is the clinical hallmark of balding. Certain studies have established that stem cells residing in the scalp remain at persistent numbers, but the conversion of stem cells to the progenitor cells required for follicle stimulation and cycling is reduced in balding patients. Efforts to assist in this regeneration of the hair follicle may induce a more robust and stronger recycling of the hair follicle. Once these stem cells are administered, they have the ability to re-activate dormant follicles, forming new cells of mesenchymal origin.

How is the ALMI™ Procedure Performed?

The ALMI™ procedure provides a targeted placement of these regenerative cells, non-surgically aiding in the regeneration of follicles during hair growth cycles. The procedure is performed either in the clinician’s office or in an outpatient facility, using local anesthesia and completed in an hour or less. Results are typically seen during the next cycle of hair growth and improve over time with each hair growth cycle.

ALMI™ can help restore:

Receding Hairlines
Bald Spots
